ARCADIA, Calif. (Jan. 8, 2015) – Nominations close this Saturday, Jan. 10, for the five stakes on the card for California Cup and Sunshine Millions, to be held at Santa Anita on Saturday, Jan. 24 for horses bred or sired in California.
The stakes to be run:
$150,000 Donald Valpredo California Cup Sprint, Four Year Olds and Upward, Six Furlongs.
$150,000 Sunshine Millions Filly and Mare Turf Sprint, Fillies And Mares, Four Year Olds and Upward, About Six And One Half Furlongs (Hillside Turf Course).
$200,000 California Cup Oaks, Fillies Three Year Olds, One Mile (Turf).
$250,000 California Cup Turf Classic, Four Year Olds and Upward, One Mile And One Eighth (Turf).
$250,000 California Cup Derby, Three Year Olds, One Mile And One Sixteenth.
