ARCADIA, Calif. (Mar. 5, 2014) – California Chrome is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $300,000 Grade II San Felipe Stakes for 3-year-olds at Santa Anita.
California Chrome is by Lucky Pulpit, out of the Not For Love mare Love the Chase, was bred by owners Martin Perry and Steve Coburn and is trained by Art Sherman.
He has four wins in eight starts, earnings of $354,850 and is coming off consecutive wins in the King Glorious and California Cup Derby.
