DEL MAR, Calif. (Nov. 17, 2016) – Multiple stakes winner California Diamond and fellow California-bred Ann Arbor Eddie are entered in Saturday’s $100,000 Grade III Bob Hope Stakes for 2-year-olds at Del Mar.
Ann Arbor Eddie is by Square Eddie, out of the In Excess mare Repo, was bred by owner Reddam Racing and is trained by Doug O’Neill. He won his lone start Oct. 29 and has earnings of $31,200.
California Diamond is by Harbor the Gold, out of the Slewdledo mare Carrie’s a Jewel, was bred by Stormy Hull, is owned by Rockingham Ranch and trained by Peter Miller. He has five wins in seven starts, earnings of $377,780 and has a win streak of three stakes races.
