AUBURN, Wash. (Jan. 27, 2023) – California stallions are making an impact in the Pacific Northwest, as the recently held Washington Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners Association annual awards demonstrated.
Three of the awards were presented to horses sired by California stallion.
They were:
Slew’s Tiz Whiz, a son of Slew’s Tiznow, was named Richard Wright Memorial Horse of the Year and Scatter Training Center champion holder horse;
Blazingbellablu, a daughter of Grazen, was named champion older filly or mare;
The Big Wam, a son of Mr. Big, was named champion 2-year-old male.
