ALBANY, Calif. (Sept. 6, 2021) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate and multiple Golden Gate Fields stakes winner Camino Del Paraiso successfully defended his title in Monday’s $50,000 Rolling Green Stakes, his first start of 2021.
The 8-year-old California-bred is by Suances, out of the Successful Appeal mare Loni’s Appeal, was bred by Red Baron’s Barn, is owned by Paradise Road Ranch and trained by O.J. Jaurequi. He has eight wins in 42 starts and earnings of $519,442.
The $5,000 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale ran the 1 1/16 miles on turf in 1:42.won by a neck at odds of 5-2 in the field of eight.
