DEL MAR, Calif. (Aug. 10, 2014) – Multiple graded stakes winner Caracortado is the lone California-bred entered in Thursday’s $90,000 Green Flash Handicap on the Polytrack at Del Mar.
Caracortado is by Cat Dreams, out of the Maria’s Mon mare Mons Venus, was bred by Mike Machowsky, is owned by Blahut Racing, Donkey Island Racing, Kagele Brothers, et al and is trained by Machowsky.
He has nine wins in 21 starts, earnings of $883,365 and is coming off a third in a July 18 optional claimer, his second start in 2 ½ years.
