SACRAMENTO, Calif. (May 18, 2022) — The California Horse Racing Board will conduct its monthly meeting on Thursday, May 19, 2022, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at Cal Expo in Sacramento. The Jockey and Driver Welfare Committee also will meet at Cal Expo the previous day on Wednesday, May 18, beginning at 1 p.m. Both meetings will be open to the public. Those providing unsolicited public comment on individual agenda items will be limited to two minutes. Comments must relate specifically to the agenda items. Note that for agenda item #6 of the committee meeting and agenda item #12 of the Board meeting, Public Comment, no further comments will be permitted after 30 minutes. For those who do not attend, the webcast audio link on the CHRB website will provide a way for the public to listen to these meetings. The agenda and package of materials for the Board meeting and the agenda and package for the committee meeting all are available on the CHRB website.
