SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Nov. 14, 2018) — The California Horse Racing Board’s monthly meeting scheduled for Thursday, November 15, has been canceled for lack of a quorum. Currently only five members sit on the seven-member Board, and two of those five commissioners will be prevented from attending a meeting on Thursday due to complications from the fires burning in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Board will be held Thursday, December 13, at Los Alamitos Race Course.
