Clockers’ Corner has Reopened

               ARCADIA, Calif. (Sept. 6, 2023)—With Santa Anita’s 19-day Autumn Meet set to open on Friday, Sept. 29, Clockers’ Corner, a popular breakfast destination for decades, will reopen to the public this Saturday, Sept. 9.  Clockers’ Corner is accessible via Gate 8 off of Baldwin Ave. and parking and admission are free each morning. 

               In addition to breathtaking views and an outstanding breakfast menu, Santa Anita’s MyRaceHorse Seabiscuit Tram Tours will be available each weekend, with one tour per morning departing Clockers’ Corner at 9:45 a.m.

               With the resumption of training set for this weekend as well, Santa Anita’s stable area will begin receiving a major influx of Thoroughbreds as Del Mar’s annual Summer Meet draws to a close this Sunday, Sept. 10.

               Open seven days a week, Clockers’ Corner is open for food and beverage service from 6 to 10 a.m.and affords attendees spectacular early morning views of some of the nation’s top Thoroughbreds as they go through their morning paces with the majestic San Gabriel Mountains serving as a one-of-a-kind backdrop.

               Along with coffee, tea, juices, bottled water and soft drinks, a wide array of fresh breakfast items, as well as the Daily Racing Form, are available each morning.

               The Autumn Meet will be highlighted by the 40th running of the two-day Breeders’ Cup World Championships on Nov. 3 and 4, which will be conducted at The Great Race Place for a record 11thtime.
