ARCADIA, Calif. (May 26, 2023) – Graded winner Closing Remarks scratched out of Sunday’s $100,000 Fran’s Valentine Stakes for Golden State Series eligibles to run in Monday’s $400,000 Grade I Gamely Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.
Closing Remarks is by Vronsky, out of the Unusual Heat mare Orange Cove, was bred by owner Harris Farms and is trained by Carla Gaines.
She has four wins in 19 starts, earnings of $560,820 and is coming off a fourth in the Apr. 30 Wilshire Stakes. Her last seven races have come in graded stakes, with a win in the Grade II Royal Heroine.
