ARCADIA, Calif. (Apr. 26, 2018) – Graded stakes winner Coniah and fellow California-bred Anatolian Heat are entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Grade III San Simeon Stakes.
Coniah, one of three females taking on the boys, is by Harlington, out of the Lord At War mare Pretti Woman, was bred by owners James or Tammy McKenney and is trained by William Morey. She has four wins in 22 starts, earnings of $320,165 and is coming off a fourth in the Mar. 25 Mizdirection.
Anatolian Heat is by Unusual Heat, out of the Woodman mare Anatolian Queen, was bred by owner Anatolia Inc. and is trained by Peter Miller. He has four wins in 18 starts, earnings of $228,838 and is coming off a win in an Apr. 1 optional claimer.
