CTBA Sale Grad Enters Turf Paradise Stake

PHOENIX, Ariz. (May 1, 2023) – California Thoroughbred Breeders Association January Sale graduate Perfect Mischief and fellow Cal-breds Sister Cousin and Big Moonie are entered in Saturday’s $60,000 Turf Paradise Open Spring Futurity for 2-year-olds.

Sister Cousin is a filly by Sharp Azteca, out of the Tapit mare Cal Gal, was bred by Richard Barto Enterprises, is owned by Chris Nolan and trained by Robertino Diodoro. She is a maiden making her second start with earnings of $3,998.

Big Moonie is a gelding by Cat Burglar, out of the Square Eddie mare Moonie, was bred by Richard Barton Enterprises, is owned by Roberto Baeza and trained by Candelario Villamar. He is a maiden making his second start with earnings of $1,000.

Perfect Mischief is a filly by Curlin to Mischief, out of the Paynter mare No Prob Lama, was bred by Kaitlyn Raboin & Matthew Raboin and is trained by Vann Belvoir. The $3,500 purchase at the CTBA January Sale is a maiden making her second start with earnings of $1,000.
