Dancingtothestars Returns in Royal Heroine

ARCADIA, Calif. (June 25, 2014) – Multiple stakes winner Dancingtothestars and fellow California-bred Kathleen Rose are entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II Royal Heroine Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.

 

Dancingtothestars is by Good Journey, out of the In Excess mare A Lil Excess, was bred by owner Ren-Mar Thoroughbreds and trained by Doug O’Neill. She has seven wins in 23 starts, earnings of $473,122 and is coming off a win in the Apr. 26 Fran’s Valentine.

 

Kathleen Rose is by Good Journey, out of the Decarchy mare Cantina’s Rose, was bred by owner B&B Zietz Stables and trained by Mike Machowsky. She has five wins in nine starts, earnings of $231,540 and is coming off a three consecutive optional claiming wins.
