ALBANY, Calif. (May 28, 2021) – California stallion Danzing Candy was represented by his first winner on Friday when Love Candy won the third race at Golden Gate in his racing debut.
Love Candy, out of the Tapizar mare Love Winning, was bred by owner Stuart Tsujimoto and trained by Ed Moger Jr. He ran the five furlongs in 1:00.87 and won by 2 ¾ lengths at odds of 6-1 in the field of eight 2-year-olds.
