This was his second start coming off a second in a Mar. 8 debut and jumped his earnings from $11,200 to $121,200.
Derby Gold ran the 6 ½ furlongs in 1:14.77 and went off at 9-1. The Black was second and Real Conundrum third in the field of 11.
