Do the Danse Returns at Santa Rosa

SANTA ROSA, Calif. (Aug. 4, 2014) – Juan Gonzalez Memorial Stakes winner Do the Danse and fellow California-breds Go to the Alter and Can Can Babe are entered in Friday’s $50,000 Wine Country Debutante Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at Santa Rosa.

Do the Danse is by Kafwain, out of the Joyeux Dancer mare Big City Danse, was bred by owner Tommy Town Thoroughbreds and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. She won both of her starts with earnings of $58,400.

Go to the Alter is by Lucky Pulpit, out of the Bertrando mare Go Jaylo, was bred by owners Mr. and Mrs. Larry Williams and is trained by Steve Specht. She has one win in four starts, earnings of $33,276 and is coming off a fifth in the July 5 Juan Gonzalez Memorial.

Can Can Babe is by McCann’s Mojave, out of the Johannesburg mare Book’em Babe, was bred by owners Mr. and Mrs. Larry Williams and is trained by Steve Specht. She won her lone start with earnings of $10,091.
