ARCADIA, Calif. (Sept. 28, 2023) – Donner Lake is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Grade III Tokyo City Cup at Santa Anita.
Donner Lake is by Hard Spun, out of the Quality Road mare Pure, was bred by DP Racing, is owned by The Warnick Stable and Joseph Hinkhouse and is trained by Michael McCarthy.
He has two wins in 11 starts, earnings of $154,400 and is coming off a Sept. 2 optional claiming win.
