Edwards Going Left Seeks Repeat

DEL MAR, Calif. (Nov. 15, 2018) – Defending champion Edwards Going Left and two-time winner Solid Wager square off in Sunday’s $100,000 Cary Grant Stakes for Golden State Series eligible at Del Mar.

Tough But Nice is a Kentucky-bred by California-stallion Good Journey, out of the Vindication mare Try to Be Nice, was bred by BG Stables, is owned by BG Stables or Palma and is trained by Hector Palma. He has six wins in 28 starts, earnings of $186,805 and is coming off an Oct. 20 optional claimer win. He was sixth in this race in 2016.

Touching Rainbows is by Aragorn, out of the Gold Case mare Violin Case, was bred by Esembee Inc., is owned by Slam Dunk Racing, KM Racing or Madaket Stables and is trained by Phil D’Amato. He has six wins in 16 starts, earnings of $279,382 and is coming off a ninth in the Sept. 28 Eddie D.
