Hip 1168, named Takes a Village, was one of nine timed in :09 4/5. The filly will go through the ring in Friday’s session.
She is out of the High Brite mare Don’t Despair, was bred by Harris Farms and is consigned by TIP Thoroughbred Investment Possibilities, Agent. She sold at the Northern California Yearling Sale for $15,500 to Springdale Farms.
