Finnegan’s Wake Moves to Hunter Stallion Station

From Hunter Stallion Station Press Release

WILTON, Calif. (Dec. 11, 2023) — Finnegan’s Wake, the Grade I-winning son of Irish champion, Powerscourt (GB), has moved to the Hunter Stallion Station of Dr. Robert Hunter in Wilton, CA for the 2024 breeding season.

From a relatively small crop sample of 11 registered foals of racing age, Finnegan’s Wake has produced 10 runners (91%) and 5 winners that visited the winner circle 19 times, including two maiden allowance winners in Mogollon Rim and Lucky Lad.

Pedigree researchers will also note Finnegan’s Wake is a half-sibling to Puca, the dam of this year’s Kentucky Derby winner Mage and Dornoch, who valiantly captured the Remsen Stakes at Aqueduct this year.

Hunter Stallion Station was established in 1985, by its founder and UC Davis graduate Robert Hunter, DVM. He and his staff will be happy to help you.
