Five Cal-bred Fillies in Pike Place Dancer

ALBANY, Calif. (Oct. 27, 2021) – Cal-breds total five of the six entered in Saturday’s $75,000 Pike Place Dancer Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at Golden Gate.

Code Ribbon is by Desert Code, out of the Grand Reward mare Jumanah, was bred by Seamist Racing, is owned by Michael Pollowitz and trained by Jacqui Navarre. She has two wins in four starts, earnings of $58,052 and is coming off a third in an Oct. 10 optional claimer.

Vaping Angel is by Southern Image, out of the Comic Strip mare Nada Joke, was bred by owners Dr. & Mrs. William Gray and is trained by Felix Rondan. She has one win in three starts, earnings of $29,826 and is coming off a fourth in an Oct. 10 optional claimer.

Sen Sen is by Smiling Tiger, out of the Gotham City mare She’s So Vain, was bred by Martin Bach, is owned by Antone Metaxas and trained by Steve Specht. She has one win in three starts, earnings of $31,050 and is coming off an Oct. 2 maiden win.

Irish Wahine is by Grazen, out of the Broken Vow mare Irish Winnie, was bred by owners Moger Inc. & Neary Racing and is trained by Ed Moger Jr. She has one win in three starts, earnings of $29,900 and is coming off a 10th in the Sept. 3 Generous Portion.

Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Jessebear is by Misremembered, out of the Crowd Pleaser mare Cagey Girl, was bred by Richard Barton Enterprises, is owned by McLean Racing Stables and is trained by Aggie Ordonez. The $6,000 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale is a maiden making her second start.
