Galilean, Oliver in Golden State Juvenile

ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 31, 2018) – Debut stakes winner Galilean and Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Oliver are among entries in Saturday’s $200,000 Golden State Juvenile for Golden State Series eligible 2-year-olds at Santa Anita.

Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Oliver is by Papa Clem, out of the Premiership mare Snobby Princess, was bred by Thomas Bachman, is owned by William Peeples and trained by Doug O’Neill. The $30,000 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has one win in five starts, earnings of $75,080 and is coming off a third in the Aug. 31 I’m Smokin.

Stakes winner Luck’s Royal Flush is by Lucky Pulpit, out of the Grand Slam mare Royal Grand Slam, was bred by owner Mr. and Mrs. Larry Williams and is trained by Jeff Bonde. He has two wins in five starts, earnings of $125,440 and is coming off a second in the Aug. 4 Graduation.

Our Silver Oak is by Unusual Heat, out of the Alphabet Soup mare Strawberry Flash, was bred by M. Auerbach, is owned by Jones, Nentwig or Pagano and is trained by William Morey. He has one win in three starts, earnings of $41,000 and is coming off a third in the Sept. 22 Barretts Juvenile.

Galilean is by Uncle Mo, out of the El Prado mare Fresia, was bred by Bar C Racing Stables, is owned by West Point Thoroughbreds, Barker or Sandbrook and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. He won his lone start, the Sept. 22 Barretts Juvenile, and has earnings of $56,000.

I Belong to Becky is by Vronsky, out of the Bold Badgett mare Pinky’s Posh, was bred by Old English Rancho, is owned by Palma or Riggio and is trained by Hector Palma. He has one win in three starts, earnings of $23,400 and is coming off an Oct. 7 maiden win.

Whooping Jay is by Square Eddie, out of the Sharp Humor mare Funny Belle, was bred by owner Reddam Racing and is trained by Doug O’Neill. He has one win in two starts, earnings of $44,000 and is coming off a second in the Oct. 6 Speakeasy.

Listing is by Square Eddie, out of the Yonaguska mare Marquis Diamond, was bred by owner Reddam Racing and is trained by Ben Cecil. He has one win in two starts, earnings of $60,000 and is coming off an eighth in the Oct. 6 Champagne.  

Cruel Intention is by Smiling Tiger, out of the Pleasantly Perfect mare Perfect Feat, was bred by Premier Thoroughbreds, is owned by LNJ Foxwoods, Jungle Racing or Nexus Racing Club and is trained by Bob Baffert. He won his lone start Oct. 13 with earnings of $30,000.
