Gallant Son to Stand at Daehling

ELK GROVE, Calif. (Sept. 1, 2015) – Graded stakes winner Gallant Son will stand the 2006 breeding season at Daehling Ranch for a fee of $2,000.

Gallant Son is a 9-year-old son of Malabar Gold, out of the Exploit mare Explicity. He won nine stakes races between 2008 and 2014, topped by a win in the 2010 Grade III Inglewood Handicap, when he defeated a California-bred champion Acclamation. He also won the 2011 Robert Kerlan Handicap, beating a pair of Cal-bred Breeders’ Cup winners, Dancing in Silks and California Flag.

Overall, Gallant Son won 11 races and $552,528 in earnings. The stallion is owned by a partnership.
