ARCADIA, Calif. (Mar. 10, 2023) – California stallion Gato Del Oro was represented by his first winner on Thursday when Storm d’Oro won the eighth race at Santa Anita.
Storm d’Oro is a 3-year-old filly out of the Distorted Humor mare Sardonic, was bred by BG Thoroughbred Farm, which is also co-owner with Royalty Stable, and is trained by Hector Palma. She won by seven lengths at odds of 2-1 in a field of seven and ran the 6 ½ furlongs in 1:19.61.
Gato Del Oro, a son of Medaglia d’Oro, stands at BG Thoroughbred Farm in Hemet.
