BENSALEM, Pa. (Sept. 14, 2015) – Multiple graded winner Gimme Da Lute is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $1 million Grade II Pennsylvania Derby for 3-year-olds at Parx Racing.
Gimme Da Lute is by Midnight Lute, out of the Proud Citizen mare Casino Gold, was bred by owners Pegram, Watson and Weitman and is trained by Bob Baffert.
He has six wins in nine starts, earnings of $627,560 and has a four-race win streak, most recently taking the Aug. 29 El Cajon Stakes.
