ALBANY, Calif. (Sept. 6, 2021) — Golden Gate Fields will be hosting a luncheon for owners in the Turf Club on Saturday, September 25, to thank owners for their patience and support during the pandemic. The event is being headed up by Amanda Howard, Golden Gate Fields’ venue/events director who recently joined the track with a fantastic reputation from the esteemed Richmond Golf Club.
To prioritize the safety of the owners and staff the following protocols will be in place:
- All owners must enter through the Turf Club entrance.
- Per Alameda County, masks are required at all times unless eating or drinking.
- Owners are allowed to bring one guest.
- Golden Gate understands the value of the trainers, veterinarians, and other GGF teams and will be conducting a separate appreciation event for them. Unfortunately, they will not be eligible to attend this lunch due to the guidelines set by Alameda County.
