Golden State Juvenile Draws Tamarando

ARCADIA, Calif. (Oct. 28, 2013) –Tamarando is the likely favorite in Friday’s $200,000 Golden State Juvenile for 2-year-olds eligible to the Golden State Series at Santa Anita.

Better Bet is by Southern Image, out of the Swiss Yodeler mare Short Sentence, was bred by Revocable Trust of Mikel Harrington and Patricia Harrington, is owned by Mike Harrington Trustee and is trained by Mike Harrington. He has one win in eight starts, earnings of $80,130 and is coming off a seventh in the Sept. 28 FrontRunner.

California Chrome is by Lucky Pulpit, out of the Not For Love mare Love the Chase, was bred by owners Martin Perry and Steve Coburn and is trained by Art Sherman. He has two wins in five starts, earnings of $100,850 and is coming off a sixth in the Sept. 4 Del Mar Futurity.

Cinmars Dance is by Cindago, out of the Dance Brightly mare Martika Tianna, was bred by Lee and Susan Searing, is owned by Dye, Marasa or Rose, et al and is trained by J. Eric Kruljac. He is coming off a maiden win in his second start Oct. 6 with earnings of $33,360.

Electric Eddie is by Square Eddie, out of the Gilded Time mare Electric Daze, was bred by J. Paul Reddam, is owned by Reddam Racing and trained by Ben Cecil. He is a maiden making his fourth start with earnings of $7,630.
