EDMONTON, Alberta (Sept. 13, 2021) – Multiple stakes winner Greek Geek, an Alberta-bred son of California stallion Misremembered, won Saturday’s $59,971 Century Mile Handicap, tying a track record.
Greek Geek, a 4-year-old gelding out of the Johannesburg mare A E Phi Sensation, ran the mile in 1:36.03 and won by a neck at odds of 4-1 in a field of nine.
