ARCADIA, Calif. (Dec. 22, 2018) – Stakes winner Hardboot is the lone California-bred entered in Wednesday’s $200,000 Grade II Mathis Brothers Mile Stakes at Santa Anita.
Hardboot is by Lucky Pulpit, out of the Cryptoclearance mare Mme. Espionage, was bred by James Mann, is owned by Silver Creek Stables and is trained by Michele Dollase.
He has two wins in eight starts, earnings of $134,665 and is making his first start since a sixth in the June 23 Mystic Lake at Canterbury Park.
