Hardcore Troubador Hits Night Note on KLAQ

SUNLAND PARK, N.M. (Dec. 29, 2018) – California-bred Hardcore Troubador scored a convincing win in Saturday’s $50,000 KLAQ Handicap at Sunland Park.

Hardcore Troubador is by Roi Charmant, out of the Good Journey mare Farallon, was bred by Richard Barton Enterprises and is owned by trainer Edward Freeman. He has four wins in 15 starts, earnings of $176,735 and was coming off a fourth in a Dec. 14 allowance.

He ran the five furlongs in :56.18 and won by 3 ¼ lengths as the 3-2 favorite in the field of nine.
