ARCADIA, Calif. (Apr. 4, 2018) – California Cup Derby winner Heck Yeah rejoins California-breds in Saturday’s $200,000 Echo Eddie Stakes for Golden State Series eligible 3-year-olds at Santa Anita.

Rewired is by Acclimation, out of the Boundary mare Know No Bounds, was bred by Old English Rancho, Sal Berumen & Patsy Berumen, is owned by Rodney Orr and trained by Steve Specht. He has three wins in four starts, earnings of $45,100 and is coming off consecutive wins.

Campaigner is by Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Good Journey mare Brave Journey, was bred by owner Larry Stein and is trained by Steve Miyadi. He has one win in eight starts, earnings of $85,800 and is coming off a fifth in the Feb. 19 California Cup Derby.

Heck Yeah is by Acclamation, out of the Maria’s Mon mare Lutess, was bred by Michael Pageler, is owned by Pageler, Dr. Sigband or Baedecker and is trained by Bob Baffert.  He has three wins in four starts, earnings of $198,000 and is coming off a fifth in the Mar. 17 Pasadena Stakes.

Take the One O One is by Acclamation, out of the Jump Start mare North Freeway, was bred by Thomas Bachman, is owned by Jay Em Ess Stable and is trained by Brian Koriner.
