Hollywood Hills in Spring Fever Stakes

ARCADIA, Calif. (Feb. 18, 2021) – Stakes winner Hollywood Hills and comebacker Bella Vita are among the entrants in Sunday’s $100,000 Spring Fever Stakes for Golden State Series eligible fillies and mares at Santa Anita.

Cassie Belle is by Lucky Pulpit, out of the Unusual Heat mare Madame Heat, was bred by owner Oakcrest Stable and is trained by Sean McCarthy. She has two wins in 15 starts, earnings of $145,465 and is coming off a second in a Jan. 23 allowance.

Hotitude is by Heat Shield, out of the Pleasantly Perfect mare Lovefromafar, was bred by Kristin Mulhall, is owned by Twilight Racing or Taub and is trained by Mulhall. She has four wins in 14 starts, earnings of $221,252 and is coming off a fifth in a Feb. 7 optional claimer.

Dr Wysong is by Cyclotron, out of the Swiss Yodeler mare Hi Ho Yodeler, was bred by Todd Marshall & Andrew Molasky, is owned by Sergio Salguero and trained by Isidro Tamayo. She has two wins in 15 starts, earnings of $164,605 and is coming off a third in a Feb. 6 allowance.

She’s a Dime is by Eskendereya, out of the Maria’s Mon mare Revealing, was bred by George Krikorian, is owned by R. Chris Larsen and is trained by Doug O’Neill. She has five wins in 16 starts, earnings of $125,003 and is coming off a Jan. 31 optional claiming win.

Hollywood Hills is by Hoorayforhollywood, out of the Malibu Moon mare Two Faced Moon, was bred by owner George Krikorian and is trained by Art Sherman. She has six wins in 14 starts, earnings of $209,168 and is coming off an eighth in the Jan 16 Sunshine Millions Filly & Mare Turf Sprint.

Square Peggy is by Square Eddie, out of the Momentum mare Puff Pastry, was bred by Reddam Racing, is owned by Boardshorts Stables and is trained by Quinn Howey. She has eight wins in 28 starts, earnings of $267,929 and is coming off a Feb. 6 allowance win.
