ALBANY, Calif. (Oct. 25, 2018) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Lakerball and fellow California-breds Stealthediamonds and Brahms Command are entered in Saturday’s $75,000 Pike Place Dancer Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at Golden Gate.
Lakerball is by Lakerville, out of the Capsized mare Category Ten, was bred by Rancho de Los Aviadores, is owned by Pappas Racing, Purple Rein Racing or Roberts and is trained by Doug O’Neill. The $1,000 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has two wins in four starts, earnings of $84,480 and is coming off a win in the Oct. 8 Surfer Girl.
Stealthediamonds is by Unusual Heat, out of the Pure Prize mare No Better Terms, was bred by owner KMN Racing and is trained by Jerry Hollendorfer. She has two wins in three starts, earnings of $48,820 and is coming off a Sept. 28 optional claiming win.
Brahms Command is by Forest Command, out of the Brahms mare Brahms Tudor, was bred by owner Four Quarters Corp. and is trained by Greg James. She has one win in two starts, earnings of $24,336 and is coming off a Sept. 29 maiden win.
