ARCADIA, Calif. (Apr. 10, 2014) – Stakes winner Lakerville and fellow California-bred Chiloquin are entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Grade III San Simeon Stakes at Santa Anita.
Lakerville is by Unusual Heat, out of the Out of Place mare Foreverinthegame, was bred by Abrams & Team Green, is owned by Barry Abrams and M. Auerbach and is trained by Abrams. He has five wins in nine starts, earnings of $292,910 and is coming off a sixth in the Mar. 8 Frank E. Kilroe Mile.
Chiloquin is by Tribal Rule, out of the Desert Mirage mare Zzyxx Road, was bred by Sam & Carl Assadurian, is owned by Carl Assadurian and Scott Hansen and is trained by Hansen. He has six wins in 23 starts, earnings of $368,342 and is making his first start since a third in the Sept. 4 Pirate’s Bounty.
