Laurel Canyon Sells for $250,000 at Keeneland

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 9, 2023) – California-bred stakes-placed filly Laurel Canyon sold for $250,000 to Jody Huckabay, agent, at Thursday’s session of the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale.

The 4-year-old Laurel Canyon is by Nyquist, out of the Malibu Moon mare Moon River Gal, was bred by Thomas Bachman, owned by Eclipse Thoroughbreds and Gary Barber and trained by Peter Miller.

She had one win in five starts and earnings of $38,640, finishing third in the Fasig-Tipton Debutante Stakes in her second career start. She sold in foal to Jack Christopher.
