DEL MAR, Calif. (Nov. 5, 2019) – California-breds Golden Birthday and Carnivorous are entered in Saturday’s $75,000 Let It Ride Stakes for 3-year-olds at Del Mar.
Golden Birthday is by Golden Balls, out of the Singspiel mare Mindy’s Birthday, was bred by owner DP Racing and is trained by James Cassidy. He has two wins in eight starts, earnings of $115,402 and is coming off a fourth in a Sept. 27 allowance.
Carnivorous is by Square Eddie, out of the Momentum mare Charred Rare, was bred by Reddam Racing, is owned by Thomsen Racing and is trained by Steve Knapp. He has five wins in 13 starts, earnings of $250,409 and is coming off a win in an Oct. 18 optional claimer.
