DEL MAR, Calif. (Aug. 21, 2019) – Multiple stakes winner Lieutenant Dan is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $200,000 Grade II Pat O’Brien Stakes at Del Mar.
Lieutenant Dan is by Grazen, out of the Indian Charlie mare Excusabull, was bred by owner Nick Alexander and is trained by Steve Miyadi.
He has four wins in nine starts, earnings of $304,020 and is coming off a win in the July 27 Real Good Deal.
