AURORA, Co. (Sept. 4, 2023) – California-bred Lite Ranchin Kid unleashed a wire-to-wire win in Sunday’s $50,000 Gold Rush Futurity for 2-year-olds at Arapahoe Park.
Lite Ranchin Kid is by Lemon Drop Kid out of the Unbridled’s Song mare Lorelei’s Song, was bred by owner Regan Wright and is trained by Rafael Barraza. He has won both starts with earnings of $37,800.
Lite Ranchin Kid ran the six furlongs in 1:13.35 and won by 5 1/4 lengths at odds of 7-2.
