DEL MAR, Calif. (Oct. 31, 2017) – Long Hot Summer is the lone California-bred entered in Friday’s $150,000 Grade III Senator Ken Maddy Stakes for fillies and mares at Del Mar.
Long Hot Summer is by Street Boss, out of the Stormy Atlantic mare Hotlantic, was bred by Harris Farms and Donald Valpredo, is owned by Fanticola & Scardino and is trained by Phil D’Amato.
She has six wins in 18 starts, earnings of $421,539 and is coming off a third in the Oct. 14 California Distaff.
