CYPRESS, Calif. (Sept. 17, 2021) — Los Alamitos has added a $75,000 California-bred stake to the final weekend of the current meeting, which runs through Sept. 26.
The Royal Owl Stakes for statebred 2-year-old fillies at 5 1/2 furlongs will be run this Sunday.
The meeting was scheduled to have five stakes, but the $75,000 Beverly Lewis Stakes for 3-year-old fillies on Sept. 11 was scrapped because of insufficient entries.
