CYPRESS, Calif. (Sept. 8, 2018) – Post time for the Los Angeles County Fair meet at Los Alamitos will move to 2 p.m. – from the current 1 p.m. – beginning Thursday, Sept. 13.
The switch to 2 p.m. – which was approved Friday by the California Horse Racing Board – means post time will be the same as it was during the previous Los Angeles County Fair meets (2014-2017).
In addition, the Los Alamitos Racing Association has added a second Pick 5 to the wagering menu, which will also commence Sept. 13.
The second Pick 5 – which is a 50-cent minimum wager – will be on the final five races, joining the extremely popular Players’ Pick 5 which is offered on the day’s first five races.
The Los Angeles County Fair meet, which began Thursday, will continue through Sunday, Sept. 23.
