DEL MAR, Calif. (Nov. 19, 2014) – Multiple stakes winner Luscious Lonna is the lone California-bred in Saturday’s $100,000 Grade III Red Carpet Handicap for fillies and mares at Del Mar.
Luscious Lonna is by Benchmark, out of the Thunder Gulch mare Striking Point, was bred by Nick Alexander, is owned by Jon Harris, Bonnie Marshall and Nicholas Sloan and is trained by Sloan.
She has nine wins in 21 starts, earnings of $271,515 and is coming off a win in the Oct. 18 Miss America Stakes.
