Madiha Rallies to Win Lucrative Finale

ARCADIA, Calif. (Nov. 4, 2023) – Running in a fillies and mares allowance race with a stakes-like purse, California-bred Madiha rallied in the stretch to win the $127,500 finale on the Breeders’ Cup Saturday card at Santa Anita.

Madiha is by Shaman Ghost, out of the Great Notion mare Very Few Details, was bred by Terry Lovingier, is owned by Lovingier, Zahra Madiha and Amanda Navarro and trained by Craig Dollase.

She has three wins in 20 starts and earnings of $282,735. She ran the 6 ½ furlongs down the hill in 1:12.85 and won by one-half length at odds of 6-1. Fellow Cal-bred Stay and Scam was second.
