WINNIPEG, Alberta (July 20, 2023) – Magic Tiger and Tiger Dad, California-bred sons of Smiling Tiger, finished 1-2 in Wednesday’s $50,000 R.J. Speers Memorial Stakes at Assiniboia Downs.
Magic Tiger, out of the Lucky Pulpit mare Funny Gal, was bred by Robert Heinz & Michelle Machado, is owned by Wind Dancer Stable & Bill Meikle and is trained by Wendy Anderson.

Magic Tiger ran the 7 ½ furlongs in 1:32.01 and won by one length at odds of 8-5.
