DEL MAR, Calif. (Nov. 30, 2023) – Multiple Grade II winner Closing Remarks can score her first Grade I race and surpass $1 million in earnings on Sunday when she runs in the $300,000 Grade I Matriarch Stakes for fillies and mares at Del Mar.
Closing Remarks is by Vronsky, out of the Unusual Heat mare Orange Cove, was bred by owner Harris Farms and is trained by Carla Gaines.
She has seven wins in 24 starts, earnings of $999,320 and is coming off a win in the Nov. 5 Goldikova.
