Alert Bay is by City Zip, out of the Dushyantor mare Hickory, was bred by Thomas Bell & Ross McLeod, is owned by Peter Redekop and trained by Blaine Wright.
He has 14 wins in 33 starts, earnings of $1,252,555 and is coming off a third in the July 4 American Stakes. He was fourth in this race in 2016 and third in 2015.
