SUNLAND PARK, N.M. (Mar. 17, 2019) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Minister of Soul is the lone California-bred entered in Saturday’s $100,000 Bill Thomas Memorial Stakes at Sunland Park.
Minister of Soul is by Ministers Wild Cat, out of the Bernstein mare Sensitive Soul, was bred by Dahlberg Farms and is owned by trainer Esteban Martinez.
The $16,000 purchase at the Northern California Yearling Sale has six wins in 11 starts, earnings of $128,203 and is coming off a consecutive wins in the Hank Mills Sr. Stakes and Phoenix Gold Cup.
