ARCADIA, Calif. (Dec. 22, 2020) – Grade I winner Mucho Unusual is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $100,000 Grade III Robert J. Frankel Stakes for fillies and mares at Santa Anita.
Mucho Unusual is by Mucho Macho Man, out of the Unusual Heat mare Not Unusual, was bred by owner George Krikorian and is trained by Tim Yakteen.
She has five wins in 17 starts, earnings of $702,715 and is coming off a 12th in the Nov. 7 Maker’s Mark Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf.
