ARCADIA, Calif. (May 24, 2018) – Nice Ice is the lone California-bred entered in Sunday’s $75,000 Black Pearl Stakes for 3-year-old fillies at Santa Anita.
Nice Ice is by Northern Afleet, out of the Popular mare Fanny Chenal, was bred by Dr. & Mrs. William Gray, is owned by Koriner & Lyons and is trained by Brian Koriner.
She has one win in five starts, earnings of $59,420 and is coming off an Apr. 22 maiden win.
