NorCal Grad in Everett Nevin Stakes

PLEASANTON, Calif. (July 3, 2019) – Northern California Yearling Sale graduate Jedi Knight is among the entries in Saturday’s $100,000 Everett Nevin Stakes for Golden State Series eligible 2-year-olds at Pleasanton.

Shady Empire is by Empire Way, out of the Awesome Gambler mare River Kiss, was bred by Terry Lovingier, is owned by Brown Jr., Brown or Lovingier and is trained by Jeff Bonde. He won his lone start May 17 with earnings of $39,000.

Bulletproof One is by Idiot Proof, out of the Decarchy mare Onefunsonofagun, was bred by Victory Rose Thoroughbreds & KMN Racing, is owned by Victory Rose Thoroughbreds and trained by Ellen Jackson. She won her long start May 11 with earnings of $23,400.

Next Flight is by Boisterous, out of the Henny Hughes mare Flight Service, was bred by owner Gary Barber and is trained by Steve Miyadi. He has one win in two starts, earnings of $46,800 and is coming off a June 14 maiden win.

Smokin Hot Bobbie is by Coach Bob, out of the Surf Cat mare Wahine, was bred by owners Mr. & Mrs. Reina Gonzalez-Nelson & Jeff Kitchen and is trained by Reina Gonzalez.  She won her lone start May 31 with earnings of $23,400.

The Northern California Yearling Sale graduate won his lone start June 1 with earnings of $23,400.

Call Me Peppy is by Peppered Cat, out of the Alymagic mare Calimagic, was bred by owner Alex Paszkeicz and is trained by Andreas Psarras. He is a maiden making his second start with earnings of $6,760.
